Mysql Dump - watch out

#1 Post by JohnneyBoy » Mon May 07, 2012 10:19 am

A problem shared.. and solution...

I have just reinstalled my OSAE environment, including the mysql database. I dumped the database off, using mysqldump, rebuilt the machine, reinstalled everything, restored the database from the dump... all worked fine except the scheduler was not running, I had updated the mysql.ini file, as per other threads on this board. So what was the problem.... the mysqldump does not dump the events by default, great! you have to use a command line option of '--events' to mysqldump...

In fact I just copied out the events creation from the osae sql install script and ran that.

Hope this helps others...

Are you using Chrome version 31? It was working for me with Chrome 30, then I upgraded to Chrome 31 and it stopped working.
