Is there a big price difference between the European products vs. US products??? Might be the way to go considering if I have my numbers correct wireless internet runs real close to the 315 Mhz of the W800RF and I have run into an issue when the antenna is to close to the wireless router.
Actually, wireless internet is in the 2.4 GHz band which is 2400 MHz which is quite a ways away on the RF spectrum from 315 MHz. Typically the euro stuff runs on 433 MHz which is even closer to the 2.4 GHz band.

You may be running into isssues when getting your antenna to close to your wireless router, not because it is close in frequency, but close to a strong signal in general. The wireless router could be putting out enough juice to interfere with it if it is close enough. You should keep the antennas a little ways apart if at all possible.

I wasn't sure on the frequency of the wireless router, going to have to write that down. I am going to build that antenna that you gave me the website to and put it on the ceiling in the center of my shop and see how that works for the W800USB. As to the RFXCOM given all the devices it interfaces with it seem like a very worthwhile investment. I also have a guy that is a super geek when it comes to RF stuff going to give him a call and see if he has any suggestions. My goal is having this thing working almost flawless before I bring it home so my wife won't complain to much about it. (Not that she complains that much) Mainly just making the transition go smooth... LOL

WLAN at 2.4GHz does not have any impact on the RFXtrx433.
433.92MHz and 2.4GHz are heavily used world-wide. For example Oregon Scientific weather sensor operate at 433.92MHz.
And European RF lamp modules also use 433.92MHz. See homeeasy.eu

Like any other receiver do not place the antenna close (< 1 feet) to a device that has an oscillator inside, these are for example a PC, router... And do not place the antenna close to metal object or cables.

In looking at the RFXCOM site I see they have now have a USB Transceiver, RFXtrx315 http://www.rfxcom.com/transceivers.htm#Transceiver that supports 310Mz X-10 devices designed for the US. Is this supported with the plugin?

New version released with support for many new lighting devices. Check the first post for a list.

New version released with a 'Learning Mode' property so it will only add new devices that are detected when told to. This will keep the system from getting clogged up with any neighbors devices.

Any chance of getting support for home easy devices..
http://www.homeeasy.eu/Receivers/

I have got the rfxtrx433 to work with the standard software downloaded from their site, but when trying to get it to work using osa, it doesn't seem to work.
Added object AC dimmer, got the port connected correctly to rfxtrx433 fine, but there is something called level and unit code in rfxmngr that needs to be populated, but there is no option to add this in osa.
Any ideas?

Cheers

Did you check the lighting section of the wiki page?: http://www.opensourceautomation.com/wik ... tle=RFXCOM

The level is input as a parameter when running the ON method, but is not required.

so from the logs it seems to be connecting to the correct port on osa ok, but it seems the message maybe slightly different, but I can't spot the error.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

It actually looks like the command is actually not getting sent at all. I will see if I can figure this out.
