Nope seems to have gone back to what it did originally:

Code: Select all

07/31/2013 06:38:19.351 PM - ================================================

07/31/2013 06:38:19.351 PM - 13 00 00 01 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

07/31/2013 06:39:13.119 PM - RFXtrx433 firmware version must be > 28, flash your RFXtrx433 with the latest firmware
Attached is an image of what I am doing to trigger the on command - that is right isn't it?

bwoodworth wrote:Then you need to go into the object types screen and set the LIGHTWAVERF object type to be owned by your RFXCOM plugin object. This is necessary because it is possible that there are other plugins that may be able to control that type of object ans we need to specify which plugin will handle commands for that type.
I want to re-stress the point above.

If, during your trials and error, you have re-installed the database, osae or the plug in, the "Object Type" values probably got reset back to the default values.

For instance, if you create a binary switch object who's owner is the CM15A, then delete and recreate the CM15A object, the binary switch's Owner value does not automatically get re-assigned to the new CM15A object.

Delete your binary switch object
Then go to object types and re-set the default value for your binary switch's Owner
Then re-create the binary switch object.

I could be wrong about this, but this is how I have always done it, and it seems to work just fine. Hope this helps.

Hi

I made sure that it was correctly set, it is attempting to issue commands to the rfxtrx but they are just not making the devices work.

The error is about the firmware version. You most likely issued the command before the firmware version was received from the transceiver. Try restarting the plugin. If it receives it ok it will show the firmware version at the beginning of the log.
