Sorry, I haven't had much of a chance to look into this lately. Just be be clear, what methods within OSA are not working? And of these methods, do any of them work with the ZWForms application? I am trying to figure out if the problem is with OpenZWave or the OSA ZWave plugin.sharkbit wrote:More stuff on the th8320zw1000
I would really like the get the config working, what other info do you need? I have gone through the command codes one by one and wrote some noted in the xml file.

Looks like the only thing that updates in the OSA is the Temp. The set points, fan state, and ac mode never changed. along with being able to see very few options to add to the display.
what is the zwcfg_(homeid).xml file?

Re: [Official Thread] Z-Wave Plugin Support Thread
The zwcfg file stores info about your network. If you delte it and run the plugin again it will do a full rediscovery of all your devices. It uses it to make the startup process faster.
So are you just having problems with getting the properties to update in OSA? Can you run the plugin and then update the properties on the device you want to see in OSA and then send the log files? THe OZW_log and the ZWave log in the Logs directory.

Ive enabled Command Class 67 and 70 in the Config folder and OZWform finds a lot more functions than OSA. i set them to use the same config folder and cleared out the cached cfgxml.
attached are image comparisons OSA vs OZWform. Added the OZW_log from OWA, the other logs are in the 2 zip files (part1 & part2) of a previous post.

Thanks. I will take a look. I still don't see the ZWave.log file from the \OSA\Logs directory. YOu have only attached the OZW_Log.txt file that the Open ZWave library generates. I want the one that the Plugin generates.

Re: [Official Thread] Z-Wave Plugin Support Thread
It looks like the plugin is restarting every minute. Are you doing that or is it crashing. Check the Service log to see if it is crashing and restarting. Also, delete the zwcfg file from the AddIns/ZWave directory to get it to rediscover the network.

Ouch... well on this pc it's crashing (ZWave-gamer - Plugin has crashed. Attempting to restart.) going to check what it's doing on my other pc...
My second pc is fine here is the log.

Re: [Official Thread] Z-Wave Plugin Support Thread
Brian,
Thanks for the xml file. Is there an xml file for the Aeon z-stick 2? The OZWForm program doesn't seem to recognize it.
Thank You,
Cav

That should be recognized just fine. That is the controller I use. It probably shows up as something like 'PC Controller'CavMort wrote:Brian,
