Aeon Labs Z-Wave Z-Stick Series 2 USB polling

#1 Post by dj-eon » Fri Jun 27, 2014 7:18 am

Hi folks.
I posted something about this around 1 year ago.

Has Z-wave polling been fixed yet?
I tried enabling it for 1 of my devices, but all I got in the log was this repeated:

Code: Select all

I've set polling to 10 minutes (600 seconds)
It just repeats this continually.

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Eon.

The ZWave library we use went Production last month, so I think they (Open ZWave) have most of their issues fixed now. We need to go through and update our plugin to use their latest library now and then run some tests. The first version we release based on the new library will probably still have some issues, but we will address them all as long as the underlying API is working properly. When the API is broke from them, there is nothing we could do and it got pretty frustrating. But they look active and on top of things now, so I think we should be able to bring our plugin in line too.

I have updated the OSA plugin to use the latest version of the OZW library. It will require OSA v0.4.4 so unless you are running the latest source from github then you will have to wait for the release.
