New Raspberry Pi 2 will run Windows 10

New Raspberry Pi 2 will run free version of Windows 10 http://www.raspberrypi.org/raspberry-pi-2-on-sale/

We'll need to come out with a Windows 10 (on Arm) compatible version of OSA

Re: SSL

For security you are best setting up a VPN from your remote phone/tablet/computer to your router. Setting up SSL/HTTPS requires more than just a port number change, the OSA Web plugin would need to be modified. I think it's a good idea so I have created an issue for it https://github.com/opensourcea...

Re: iKettle Plugin - Anyone intrested?

I don't drink coffee so I wouldn't use it but still think it would be a nice addition to OSA plugins. In my opinion the two most difficult parts of writing a plugin are learning the device's protocol and dealing with any required encryption or security. If the device's protocol is documented then wr...

Re: Heating Control

Brian can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the Zwave plugin does anything with associations. But having said that, associations are stored in the actual Zwave devices so I don't think the plugin needs to be aware of them since the devices themselves know what to do with the associations. I ...

Re: MIni Keypad RFiD by Zibato set-up help

The OSA Zwave plugin is totally dependent on the OpenZwave library. If the OpenZwave library does not recognize the device then OSA will not either. As you have found, OpenZwave holds the various device specifications in XML files. Since the 0.5.4 Zwave plugin has been out for a while its configurat...

Re: MIni Keypad RFiD by Zibato set-up help

OK, I looked through the code and it's doing what it was programmed to do but I'm not sure why it was programmed this way. The "Alarm Level" is a special name it looks for. Here's the code #region ValueChanged case ZWNotification.Type.ValueChanged: { try { Node node = GetNode(m_homeId, m_notificatio...

Re: MIni Keypad RFiD by Zibato set-up help

Yea, it's easier to start with something simple like a light switch or dimmer but it looks like you have made some good progress. There is a known bug in 0.5.4. You can try the DLL attached to this post http://www.opensourceautomation.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=9981#p9981 The key thing I see in the ...

Re: Nest announces smart home API

@fiveHellions, thanks for working on this. I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out. As far as the Nest, the build quality is excellent, the installation was very easy and its been very reliable. I don't own any Apple products mainly due to the way I feel they try and lock you into their ecos...

Re: New to OSA - Zwave Help

I think you can just download and install the 0.5.4 plugin and it will replace the 0.5.6 one.

If that does not work you can just delete the C:\Program Files\OSA\Plugins\ZWave folder.
