Welcome to OSA landis! We are always looking for more developers. I think Vaughn ran into some problems with the installer and has other things taking his time so development on 0.4.4 has stalled. I would suggest starting with 0.4.3 since it has fewer bugs. Once you have played with OSA for a while ...

Welcome to OSA! It does not appear the DS 7000 has any serial or Ethernet ports to allow OSA to communicate with it. With a CM11A or CM15A interface OSA would be able to "hear" any X10 commands on the power line such as the DS 7000 turning on a siren output. Are you using the X10 wireless door and/o...

Have you checked on the OpenZwave site? According to this http://www.pepper1.net/zwavedb/device/170 it should support command class 0x43
