Re: Off Timer in 0.4.2

I upgraded to 4.2 (lastest version)last night but I could not get x64 to work with my cm15a. It was a system that had nothing on it so I re-imaged the drive to x86 and reinstalled everything. Everything I have works including timers. They actually work better that before. The timing was kind of rand...

Re: OSA v0.4.2 Released

I understand that. I have never yet been able to install OSA without installing mysql first. I'm sure I installed 32 bit mysql (not home to check right now), so I suppose that could be the problem.

Re: OSA v0.4.2 Released

I guess I spoke too soon. The new plugins install but not all services start. The CM15a, PowerShell and Web Server are always in the starting status. Speech client and Email are running. (I don't start any others). The logs for these plugins are not created and the manager logs don't show it even tr...

Re: OSA v0.4.2 Released

I got them to install. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I think the problem was I first tried installing the x86 version but it would not run. When I realized I was trying to run x86, I just installed the 64 bit one and it seemed to work but plugin installer would not work. So I unistalled both, delet...

older version

I am trying to install may setup on a 64 bit machine now. I was running 32 bit. SO I downloaded 4.2 64 bit. It installs but I cannot install any plugins. On my 32 bit system I found I had to uninstall 4.1 and install 4.0 to install plugins, then install 4.1 again. The thread the discuses this proble...

Re: Speech not working

I figured out the problem. When I imported the data base into the new computer, the name was different. So when it created the speech object, it had a different name than my scripts were using since the object name if 'sppech-<system name>". I changed the name of the object in the scripts and it wor...

Speech not working

I just moved my setup to a different computer. Everything seems to work except the speech. When the services start it anounces, 'Speech client started", but none of the speech messages are working. The power script log shows the messages in the scripts, The osae service logs shows all the speech com...

Re: powershell question

I have been looking at the system resrource monitor and performance monitor. The cpu load seemed awful high even with nothing going on. I started killing unnecessary processes and services. If found that mysql, was consuming about 50% of one core at idle. I have a cpu usage widget on windows 7. Righ...

Re: powershell question

Oh man, I really blew that. To many changes and names too similar. Good catch. It works correctly now, but it is very slow. Even with no sleeps it is 3-4 seconds between numbers. I am running on a netbook, dual core 1.67 Gig, so it is not a screamer, but that time seems vary slow for this. This is t...
