Re: Off Timer not executing

That was it. My Events table in Information_Schema is empty, meaning I have no event defined.

Can anybody provide me the syntax used to create the events?

Re: Off Timer not executing

Thanks. I will poke around the database some more and see if I can find it.

Off Timer not executing

My Off Timers are not executing like they should. I've tried setting them on objects that I know used to work with the Off Timer as well as creating new objects with it. None of them return to off state. I've checked mysql under SESSION_VARIABLES and the EVENT_SCHEDULER is set to ON. What else can I...

Re: Question about Android app and voice commands???

Found the problem. When it encoded the URL to send the rest command it changed the spaces to + then the rest plugin would not match the pattern. So single word commands worked and multiple word ones did not. Try the latest version of the app https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/43302928/osaextension....

Re: Question about Android app and voice commands???

The VR does not need to be running. The voice recognition is done on android and it then uses the rest api to send the text for a pattern match. Make sure that your rest port isn't blocked by a firewall or anything. The error actually sounds like it is failing at the voice recognition part before it...

Re: How do you interact with OSA when away from home Wi-Fi?

It may also be worth looking into having some sort of security for the rest api.

I currently have my rest port forwarded to the outside as well.

Re: Pattern Matching in 0.4.4

Really good work.

Takes alot of the work out setting up speech patterns for all objects.

For the next step I'd recommend a way to run any object methods.

Maybe something like: Run [OBJECT] [METHOD]

Re: Android Plugin

Sorry I don't know how I missed this. I think there may be two things possibly preventing starting tasks on the phone. 1) There is an option in tasker in the preferences under the misc tab called 'allow external access'. Make sure this is checked. 2) When I tried to troubleshoot and run a task it wo...

Re: School Holidays

This sounds like a great opportunity to use the Get-OSAGCalendar command that Mat added to the powershell plugin. http://www.opensourceautomation.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=771&p=6132&hilit=calendar#p6132 I haven't used it, but basically it sounds like it is able to read your google calendar. So...
