Re: New Raspberry Pi 2 will run Windows 10

@Automate,
A Wiki article is the final plan, I am still fine tuning and tweaking little things here and there :)

Re: New Raspberry Pi 2 will run Windows 10

I have created a couple of Raspberry Pi and Pi2 mini controllers, running Raspbian linux and held together with Python scripting and a light python web server called Bottle, connected via Wifi and interfacing with OSA. I have never been able to get my head around what is required for an OSA plugin f...

Re: Powershell - Change System Volume

Thanks Automate, I had seen that page and tried a couple of the methods already, but I had seemingly glanced over the reference to NirCmd. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html I downloaded it and it works perfectly from Powershell within OSA. nircmd.exe setsysvolume 65535 It also does a bunch of...

Powershell - Change System Volume

Sometimes, when playing on the PC, I need to turn the volume down, but then forget to set it back to 100% again, hence I miss the TTS voice giving me notifications. I am trying to adjust the PC volume back to 100 % through PowerShell, but although it works in PowerGUI, I can't get it working in OSA....

Re: Known working Zwave device list

Aeon Labs - Z-Stick S2 - Works great for me, now that I have added a USB extension and put it as high as possible. (Much faster and more reliable!) Aeon Labs - Multi Sensor 1.18 - Works great after changing the reporting group with ZVirtual Scenes Everspring - Z Wave Bulb Holder (Model AN145) - Exce...

Re: Is is possible to call a Powershell script from the REST

I seem to have missed your second post Automate, sorry for not replying sooner. I have just relooked at this and find the calling PS scripts from the REST interface is now working perfectly, with my original syntax. It must has been a "can't see the forest for the trees" type of problem. Than...

Is is possible to call a Powershell script from the REST API

Hi, I have tried many ways of calling a PowerShell script from the REST interface, but I cannot seem to get it right. Is this possible and if so, what is the syntax? Based on the help in http://www.opensourceautomation.com/wiki/index.php?title=REST and http://localhost:8732/api/help , I would expect...

Re: New to OSA - Which Alarm Panels are Supported

Welcome to OSA! I am not using the DSC Alarm plugin yet, but the DSC 1616 panel you mentioned is listed as a panel that works with this plugin. It will require an extra add-in board for the DSC system. (Either LAN or Serial) See the thread for this plugin for more information http://www.opensourceau...

Re: [Official Thread] XBMC Plugin Support Thread

Hi, In the XBMC plugin there are some events, I cannot remember exactly what they are called, but they are something like Play, Pause and Stop. When I press Play on my XBMC, I have a script hooked to the Play event that dims the lights. When I press Pause or Stop, I have another script that brighten...

Re: It's installed. Now what?

Assign your phones some Static IP's on your home network. In OSA there is a plugin called Network Monitor and you can create objects for your Android Phones as "Network Devices" and put the IP's in the Address field. The Network Monitor will then ping your phone and OSA will change the State of your...
