Re: New to OSA, some questions before I get started
Hi James, I'm in the UK too so hopefully my setup can give you some inspiration. It currently consists of a RFXCOM transceiver which controls my LightwaveRF light switch and plug sockets . I got the LightwaveRF stuff from B&Q, the plug sockets were only £20 from there for 3 and also include a separa...

Re: [Official Thread] XBMC Plugin Support Thread
That thread has since been updated by another user who has it working: The OP has not updated it in over a year but it still works for me. I'm using the free version of VS 2013 for Windows Desktop. This is what I did to get it to work: 1. Open the JsonRpcGen.sln file 2. Remove the XbmcRt2 and XBMCRP...

Re: PsShutdown and Openremote
Sorry should have been more clear.
OSA and openremote are both running on the same server. I've created a switch in openremote to turn on and off a different PC on the network. Currently openremote uses WOL to turn it on, and uses REST to send the off method for that PC.

PsShutdown and Openremote
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to trigger a powershell script to run from openremote, i.e. using just the REST api. I've created my script and set the trigger to be an object event of my PC turning off. From openremote I then execute the off method for my PC, but as this doesn't trigger an event t...

Try changing the object address to A-01 and see if that works.

Re: [Official Thread] RFXCOM Plugin Support Thread
Hi All firstly let me say well done with the work to date. I've been shopping around for a better HA software after outgrowing Misterhouse. And within 1 day I'm up and running with the help of your instructional videos and docs. From what I've seen this system seems to have everything I'm looking f...

Re: [Official Thread] XBMC Plugin Support Thread
That would explain it then, I thought the plugin had been updated already. Is this on the to-do list?

Re: [Official Thread] XBMC Plugin Support Thread
Not getting the same error anymore strangely. Re: [Official Thread] XBMC Plugin Support Thread
I'm having some trouble getting this set up, I have Openelec running on a raspberry pi and all set to enable remote control properly (works with yatse on my phone). XBMC log gives the following error: 12/18/2013 06:53:06.562 PM - Creating new XBMC System connection: XBMC Raspberry - 192.168.0.102 12...

Re: Install 0.4.1 Windows 7 64 bit
I had the exact same problems, MySQL seemed to install fine and so did OSA but the OSA service would not start. Completely uninstalling MySQL 5.6 and installing 5.5 instead was the solution for me too. Everything seems to be running OK now, fingers crossed it stays that way. I'm running Windows Home...
